Libs are genuinely so stupid for these takes. “Communism” is just a buzzword for “evil” in their brains

If anything he’s a socialist, the people own nothing, the govt however is starting to buy shares of private companies

It’s literally govt control of the means of production (intel has the only semiconductor fab factories in America)

No, it’s the ownership of the means of production by the working class, which may or may not be via a governmental structure

So his plan to own the means of production by acquiring them via stocks for multiple companies is a form of socialism

… no it isn’t, the working class doesn’t control the US government, and thus, we don’t own the stock

No they very much do, they’re the people that vote in the primaries and election, corporations may influence that decision but they’re not the ones doing the voting

You may not agree with how the working class votes but they very much voted for the Trump admin

Okay just because working people voted for someone in a bourgeois election that is rigged essentially by financial interests doesn’t mean working people control the government. Neither party represents the interests of working people

I don’t really think this election was even rigged by financial interests, I doubt venture capital wanted a trade war that embarrasses us on the world stage and alienates our trade partners. While I agree that neither party represents the interests of working people that’s the fault of the voters, to participate in a democracy it’s the voters responsibility to be informed, if they’re ill informed that’s still their govt they’re just morons.
