Just want to give a reminder to my fellow Christians that people can still be given God’s grace even if they SA’d someone, murdered, cheated, etc. No sin is too great for God’s mercy EXCEPT for blasphemy. No one is ever too bad to spread the God’s word.

Saying bad things in your head is worse than rape and murder? Seems kinda back-asswards

God kinda sucks for that

my god is a humble selfless god. buuuuuuuuuuuuut if you step a teensy bit out of line and "disrespect" him, you burn for all of eternity. however! if you "respect" him but just commit every crime against mankinds laws, its a-ok you get rewarded with eternal paradise!

Being saved is a process, and it doesn’t come cheap. You don’t get a free pass to do unspeakable things to ppl just by asking God if we’re cool. You change the way you live, permanently, and you treat ppl the way you’d want to be treated. Live what you say, don’t just talk

Like tf is the point of hell if you can just do whatever to your fellow man as long as you think nice things

Of all the sins, blasphemy is the only unforgivable one. It’s quite simple to not commit one sin, especially given the consequences of that sin.

So if someone murders thousands of ppl they’re cool, but if they think mean thoughts about God they’re doomed? Shit makes no sane

Just because a sin is forgivable does not mean it’s always forgiven. It takes the work of humans to be forgiven

That’s because most sins are only sins against mankind, blasphemy is a sin directly against God.

I don’t like this nihilistic approach. ONLY sins against mankind? Think about this phrasing here

Almost as if the God described here would tolerate disobedience to manly rules and even the nature of being a good man but would not tolerate direct disrespect to himself (let's be honest, in most scenarios this holds true to people as well)

its quite simple to not commit one sin, especially given the consequences of that sin. somehow does not apply to murder though!
