Making generalizations about people is oversimplifying a complex issue Dehumanization does nothing but lead to more violence and tension, ofc there are people who are too far gone to be saved but the idea that every single person who’s even republican-adjacent would support mass ethnic cleansing and expansionism is just as far-fetched as the generalizations they make about us

This doesn’t end without violence. You don’t get a fair election in 2028. They’re preparing to put feds at voting stations, collecting voter rolls. They chose this and this type of attitude is why reconstruction failed. You don’t trim weeds.. you tear out the roots so they can never regrow.

THEY LITERALLY DID SUPPORT IT. It’s not subtle, he’s been preaching it since 2016.

Yes, but this doesn’t mean you need to attack random republicans, those criticisms and attacks should be used to the people acc enforcing these policies and creating them, not random people

Yes it does. A leader derives his power from his supporters. Just as a weed derives its nutrition from its roots. Tear out the roots.

So your suggestion is to just start attacking republicans and Trump supporters? You think that will help decrease the violence?

It’s coming either way or we will descend into full on facism.. you’re just too ignorant to see it. You think sitting in a circle singing kumbaya will stop the next generations Trump? No. You have to scare them so bad they crawl back to their holes never show their faces again

I think isolated random acts of violence accomplish nothing, true resistance comes through organization and deliberately-planned action, not random acts of resistance

Nazis is when your government demonizes a scapegoated minority group to the point of accusing them of “poisoning the blood of our country” (president’s words btw), hope this helps!

this wouldn’t be Nazism, but when the leader of the country says “they’re poisoning the blood of our country”, it’s definitely Nazi-esque

Obviously there’s a more nuanced definition, but I have no interest in talking nuance with people who think rounding people up and deporting them en masse is okay (quite literally what the Nazis started off doing)

yeah, the argument conservatives love to use is “we do it by actions and not race” despite SCOTUS literally giving ICE the green light to racially profile after the Trump administration asked for a ruling

Ahh yes because those organized protests have done so much. Just look at how much safer our schools are, how less people are being shot by law enforcement and how Trump has given up the power he consolidated. Meanwhile the boston team party and similar random acts of violence (tar and feathering) started the push for this country’s birth

those weren’t random acts, they were deliberately planned by a group of revolutionaries And protesting for a day where the police tell you to protest barely qualifies as a protest, I mean things like strikes, boycotts, etc., nonviolent direct action
