even in 1783, the damn Treaty of Paris was just the British government saying “yeah ok fine go take that land that’s not ours to give you” to make the colonies stop revolting against the British forces… like our whole war of independence resulted in more stolen land given to us by the British. We didn’t even conquer anything.

This whole concept about having “no right to its land” doesn’t exist. There is no “right to exist” given to any country. Spain doesn’t have a right to exist. Neither does Haiti, Italy, Eritrea, etc. The legal precedents that establish borders aren’t impacted by the historical moral wrongdoings. It’s also a nothing burger line - everyone says the US has no right to its land - so what’s the solution? What happens to people who own houses on land that “the us doesn’t have a right to”?

If you’re serious about the US having no right to their land, I’m curious to understand your thinking. What will that do to government and private property? If states are given back to native groups, how would that affect representation in the house and senate? How would long-term US equipment installed on that land be handled? I don’t agree with you but I always hear this line repeated so I’m curious to get to the next step in your beliefs.
