i think it’s a little funny that their mascot is a sensitive guy with serious trauma, anger management, and attachment issues who gets radicalized by a manipulative authority figure who plays on his fears, loses his humanity and all positive relationships in his life as a consequence, and then regrets everything in the end

You can’t skip why he had attachment issues in the first place. He was a child slave, and the only person to show him love and care was his mom. He later gets a father figure Qui-Gun Jinn then is killed. He gets taken in by the Jedi who teach him that attachments are bad which lead to the dark side. Keep in mind that his mother is still a slave, which the Jedi could have freed her at anytime but didn’t. His mother dies and the Jedi do pretty much nothing to consul him.

-The Jedi were the main cause of his downfall. The ones that supported peace and democracy failed Anakin. They are also the reason why Doku fell to the dark side too.
