i lean left, especially right now, and i've been saying for a least a year that if we (the left) cannot stop lumping republicans in with maga we will never be able to find common ground. obviously there will be things we don't agree on, but i think that we have more in common as regular citizens than corrupt politicians and billionaires. we need to all figure out how to see that and do something about it instead of continuing to widen the divide

I totally agree! I understand that a majority of republicans are maga, and I dislike it so much. But I also see that with democrats/leftists, we only see the loudest voices which means not all blues are “crazy and unreasonable”. It’s the same thing for both sides just different fonts. I wish people would realize that it shouldn’t be us vs us, it has to be us vs them.
