I mean it technically was. When the natives were being repelled by westward expansion and manifest destiny, when non white people let alone any women were legally considered less than their white counterparts. Where the color of your skin determined which parts of the constitution applied to you. How much you could be bought and sold for. How much public approval is needed to remove you from your lands or from your own life.

It was white run not a fully white country. I get where you’re coming from but ethnically it was never a white country.

Bc now racism is acceptable and they have been given a common enemy (minorities) to blame and hate not realizing that every great city in this country was built by more than just whites.
