TIL the DCNG does have a 70,000 sq ft armory in the city, but its board was dissolved in 1994, so the Washington Convention and Sports Authority operates it now, kinda like the San Francisco Armory, but less kinky

I meant it’s going to them as in it’s paying for their housing. Regardless of how you feel about their deployment, the national guard are just regular joes who got pulled out of their lives for a publicity stunt. At least the government is shelling out money for their housing. Better that than building more bombs
