I do think left wing people can be antisemitic and I am particularly quick to point out what I view to be antisemitic elements that can sneak into discourse. But I think that there is a distinctly biased presentation of what the left actually believes that makes you believe antisemitism is more common than it actually is.

Like I for example am very quick to point out to people that Israel is not solely European Jews and that is a common misconception. However it was founded by primarily European Jews on European political principles during a European colonial era. And within Israel it is well known that Yemeni, Moroccan, Ethiopian, and other Jewish communities have been marginalized because they have been viewed as inferior or “too arab” or “too black”
