If you think the entire erasure of a state, families, children, basically all of its people is an adequate response because of one terrible day. Then all that says is you are a psychotic, sociopathic piece of trash who believes that not all life has value

This past spring, saw a lot of people posting and reposting all the Palestine graduation ceremonies, markets opening and gatherings. Not saying Israel isn’t attacking them, but erasure of “basically all of its people” just ain’t it

This is my problem with you people who immediately bring up Hamas. You people look at Gazan children who are murdered and deep down you don’t give a shit because you believe that while they may be kids at that moment they were just gonna grow up to join Hamas. That’s all they ever were to you. That’s all Palestinians ever are to you. Either they’re Hamas or future Hamas. Like I said people like you believe that certain groups of peoples lives have no value.

I find it very fascinating how people manage to doublethink that killing Gazan children is justified by the attack from Hamas but that simultaneously the attack from Hamas came out of nowhere and Israel did nothing.

Like the answer is that all massacres of civilians are bad but I find it particularly fascinating how individual Gazan kids are responsible for Hamas but individual Israelis aren’t responsible for the Israeli government. Justifying massacres is an awful idea but it’s not even applied evenly.

Hamas has a history of using child suicide bombers so yea Israeli troops are going to be willing to shoot them if they approach to quickly then Hamas will use its social media proxies to claim they massacring children. Hamas is excellent at playing the victim.

Israel helped Hamas get to where it is. And how many of those children weren’t running up to Israeli soldiers? How many of them did nothing wrong but found themselves wrong place wrong time? How many of them were in what they thought were safe places when Israel took action without care for citizen cost? Once again you have shown that to you Palestinians are either apart of Hamas or they’re future members of Hamas and so to you it’s acceptable. Fucking sociopath.

Ah, really refusing to address any of the points at hand, huh. Not gonna address why Hamas exists in the first place? Yeah that’s not too surprising. It reminds me a lot of Armenian genocide apologism, where the Armenians were all called terrorists. Or the defense of the genocide of the Herero and Nama or native Americans.

Also like if we go into your whole shitty justification, Israel drafts both men and women into the IDF. Under your logic couldn’t a Hamas supporter use that to justify atrocities against Israeli civilians? Hamas doesn’t consider any Israelis to be civilians. Maybe massacres are bad instead. Maybe we just have no apologist for atrocities.

If you think I don’t give a shit you are wrong. Gaza is the way it is today because of Hamas who has governed it for seventeen years. The Palestinians chose Hamas to govern Gaza. Instead of Governing they embezzled money, repeatedly launched rockets into Israel for years then killed hundreds of Israelis on October 7th. But yes let’s blame Israel. It won’t matter. Even without America’s help they will make sure no threat to Israel ever emerges from Gaza again

Hamas was elected because Israel’s continued colonization of the West Bank eroded confidence in the PLO. Israel then propped up Hamas intentionally to keep them in power to weaken the PLO. Hamas only exists because of Israel.

Israel does not want a moderate peaceful Palestine. A moderate peaceful Palestinian state would prevent it from colonial expansion. They need radicals to justify continued expansionist warfare. Israel is why the PLO, Hezbollah, Hamas, all of those militant groups exist.

And of course we also must note that when Gazans peacefully protested in 2018, the IDF gunned them down, killing over 200 and injuring thousands. You always need to act like attacks against Israel came out of nowhere, that nothing proceeded or incited them.

The Israeli government has been at war with Hamas for 3 fucking years. They are not propping them up. Even if they had propped them up before that , the most likely reason would have been to keep a stable government in Gaza so they don’t have to deal with a refugee crisis. They pulled out of Gaza in 07 because they didn’t want to govern it.

The Israeli government propped up an entity they knew would be a problem not because they intended to suffer, but because they intended to profit. And considering how far the far right has had a stranglehold on Israeli politics it’s worked pretty fucking well. Why? Because fear sells. They knew Hamas would be a threat they didn’t care because they knew it gave them an avenue to retain power. You haven’t done any research you just have blind hatred for Palestinians and want them to be wiped out.

The Herero and Nama Genocide committed by Germany, considered by many scholars (including experts in Israel) to be a precursor to the methods used in the Holocaust, was committed after the Herero and Nama revolted and killed German colonists in Namibia. Australian Aboriginals were genocided after killing British settlers. Same goes for a number of genocides of native Americans.

You mean like the multiple massacres of Palestinian villages that occurred in 1948? Israel needs to make genocide look like it’s just a military operation so chuds like you can justify it and they can maintain US support. If they were too explicit about it then they would lose their international backing (which frankly is happening now, guess they’re crossing that line). The West Bank settlements are textbook ethnic cleansing. The Koenig Memorandum was an internal Israeli government memo detailing a deliberate policy of reducing Arab birth rates in the Galilee and confiscating their land to replace them with Jewish settlements. Nearly every non-Druze inhabitant was ethnically cleansed from the Golan heights.
