The messaging on this sign is less clear than it was. Used to say “they get the gold, we get the shaft.” This one adds some schizophrenic wabi sabi.

Temporary construction jobs and then some full time jobs. They’re selling this by saying the tax revenue will be big and apparently will be water and power self sufficient. I know the land well, it’s true there’s an aquifer under there. But will they live up to the promises? It’s right in my parents backyard which is crazy.
