I think this is more of a gun lobby issue than a social media issue. Sure I get pissed off when I see something about a shooting on social media but I get pissed off whenever any shooting happens because we shouldn’t have mass shootings in the first place. The people making money off these killings are the gun manufactures who provide the weapons to the attackers then use the attacks to tell people that they need to buy more guns to defend themselves from attackers with guns

the people doing the mass murders arent getting rage baited into it tho. theyre crawling into these deep internet holes that cause them to essentially cut off contact with the “outside world” and exist in an echo chamber of self-hatred and bigotry
