AOC has kinda been backing off her democratic socialist stuff recently tbh, becoming more mainstream democrat. Wrt Israel at least I guess

I wouldn’t describe any federal representative as a far left radical, to be clear. But for the centrist vs. progressive wing, lots? I mean the clearest distinction is healthcare. Supporting reforms to the ACA is the centrist dem position while the further left wing advocates for Medicare for All. Similar patterns in climate resilience, progressive taxation, etc

I think she’s meeting the moment. The time she spent previously advocating for very progressive policies now has to be spent condemning the country’s authoritarian pivot
