the unfortunately reality is that unless the conversation becomes at least partially “what led them to come to this conclusion” rather than 100% “they’re all brainwashed, dumb, or evil” this trend will never reverse

I def think it’s bc the amplification of the super successful women on social media who earn their money from more scandalous behavior, and seeing how easy it is for them to make that money compared to what the average person needs to do, but will still never reach that level of wealth. It’s a sign of a very broken system that’s has never been more apparent than now

I think that might be a small sliver of the pie but a much larger one is the divisiveness that has led to “all umbrella social concerns are classified into good or bad, we’re not allowed to have nuance about the bad ones or question the good ones” which ends up leaving young boys who have nothing at all to do with oppressive systems hanging out to dry
