Big tech (FAANG/Mag 7, not the surveillance ones) really just shift their political stances based on who’s in power. They don’t want to be regulated or broken up because of antitrust, so they have to stay in politicians’ good graces. I think that’s why Zuckerberg flipped on the COVID misinformation thing

Don’t discount the impact of profit. COVID misinformation had a lot of engagement, and that is very good for Facebook
