Oklahoma truly is the most conservative state. Economy propped up by the oil industry and the military, OKC is a “red city” 50th in education, Bible thumping government, 48th in healthcare, 46th in economic opportunity. Voted completely red in elections

If they hadn’t destroyed Black Wall Street Tulsa today would be a major economic center of a unified southern black community and Oklahoma would be a much more developed place. Black owned oil companies would have been REALLY beneficial for the community as a whole

i mean they kinda were already off to a shitty start bc it was literally called “Indian Territory” before it was changed to Oklahoma… so you can imagine how it was consistently left behind and stomped on as much as possible, sending the least desirables there… until Tulsa exploded as Black Wall Street and it was discovered to have a ton of oil, so they reclaimed the useless lands they’d left to the least desirables to profit off the oil, once again forcing the forgotten peoples into submission…

Oklahoma is just a shit hole, if they weren't part of the US they'd be a third world country.

How so? Personally I don’t see the race of someone owning an oil company affecting the community it’s in except for the people working there and maybe some more outreach to minority communities

One reason, not the entire reason but one reason, is PragerU is based in Oklahoma. And PragerU is being incorporated into school curriculum.

Also SC has good barbecue. Or I at least like how it involves mustard and give that part a lot of weight in my culinary opinions.

black-owned oil companies would've done the same thing black-owned oil companies do *today*: exploit and extract have you never seen how black elites operate? they're elites before they're black

one day black folks will understand that not all skinfolk are kinfolk and that class solidarity takes precedence over racial solidarity

The most racist people are the working and lower class whites. There is no class solidarity

maybe there was a misunderstanding but i never said anything about working/lower/poor class people having solidarity there are two groups: elites and everybody else. elites *absolutely* have class solidarity. everybody else does not elites are elites before they are black, white, brown, christian, jewish, muslim, straight, gay, etc because *they* have class solidarity. they cooperate and conspire together consistently
