Let that 50,000 sink in. Nobody hates the British like the Irish do. Hundreds of years of oppression, colonization, massacres, and even meddling in their civil war less than 20 years prior (WHICH THEY WERE THE PRIMARY REASON FOR), 50,000 volunteers to fight alongside their own worst enemy
