It’s basically like a deposit, you’ll get it back when your visa expires as long as you complied with the terms of it. But no one knows if DHS even has the ability to accept payments like this and then issue refunds. And if you’ve ever tried claiming a VAT refund in Europe, you know you’re probably not getting that money back. Same here
