If you actually read about and go to these countries, you can see how the welfare states, infrastructure, labor movements, etc have been entirely hollowed out. In Germany the trains never run on time anymore and in Netherlands they have imposed regressive “freedom taxes” to fund militarism. These countries have gone to shit much like the US

Also case in point when European pols from some nominally social democratic parties met with Bernie in 2020 they thought he was too far left

Germany actually mandated trains being late as part of their de-Nazification program due to “trains running on time” being the slogan of some bad people (/j, obviously)
