Wasnt the whole point of the 2nd amendment to be able to defend yourself from an oppressive government?? This dude didnt even USE the gun and it got him killed. So tell me (and im so deadass) what the 2nd amendment is for

The 2nd amendment simply was never meant for people to take arms against the government. It was simply to allow states to form militias, especially against black slaves.

how does it work if they will just shoot back? like BEST case scenario, there are 100+ armed protesters that are willing to die for the cause. things escalate and they shoot, ice will retreat and shoot back or hide and shoot, or call in huge back up that will wipe everyone out. then what? how do u imagine this playing out

ok so imagine there are these combats in major cities all over the country…. how long til they just use their advanced weaponry (that we dont have access to) like the electro magnetic shock wave thing they used in iran, or some crazy chemical something that could easily just bring us to our knees and wouldnt cost them any men

EMPs don’t harm humans. Chemical weapons would spark international outrage and break all alliances the US has. If your argument against 2A boils down to your fears of the US government using fantasy conspiracy theory weapons then you really gotta get your act together.
