Okay hot take. Heritage Foundation would basically have 0 power if people just ignored them. Theyre not like actually a PART of the government (asides from some politicians who are a part of the organization). Im not saying the solution is to ignore their impact on the government, but just to stop reposting their bs

I mean yes that’s true, but even though they’re not actually a part of the government they still have the ability to influence policy, especially since there are some politicians who are part of the organization or at least willing to hear what they have to say.

They’re a think tank for the right. The right isn’t going to casually ignore them. They wield a massive amount of influence. It feels almost like ALEC
