The fact of the matter is that the median voter only cares about gas prices and nothing else. There could be roving death squads drop kicking puppies and that president would get a second term if gas was $2

I think that’s okay to be honest. I’d like it to be … 2.XX, but I think 2.00 is kinda crazy encouraging the big trucks in the US. I understand the current spike is hurting poor people who have no alternative right now, though
