I don’t think it’s popping, I think they just finally realized there’s no money in the consumer sector and are shifting completely to business. That fake money alone is enough to keep the bubble afloat for many more years if they keep playing their cards right now

Not popping. OpenAI is likely planning an IPO and investors are going to wonder why they still have TikTok with some mid AI videos. They want to cut expenses so they can look better

I assume you’re familiar with the AI-related tech stocks skyrocketing over the past year or two. Everyone and their mom is desperate to throw their money at it so they can make some money. When you combine inexperienced, emotional investors and companies trading wayyyyyy above their earnings (i.e. they may be overvalued), bad news can cause people to get scared and pull their money out. Others see the price dropping and sell too, and it becomes a feedback loop

And this is a big move for OpenAI bc they’re planning to begin initial public offering soon, following their restructuring from a nonprofit to a PBC. So we’re really about to see a massive inflation of said bubble, which will make the pop that much harder
