Roughly 62% of all eligible voters in 2024 voted for Harris or Trump. That’s IT. So when people say “half the country” for each, only 40% of the population actively voted for them. And that includes the people in the middle that don’t like either of them

The average person does not think as extreme left or right as you think they do, the internet just has loud ass people that can tend to make you feel as if that’s the case. Most people are just trying to live life quietly

Oh sorry lemme clarify. The 62% is 62% of eligible voters. The 40% is 40% of the entire population at that time, which would include ineligible voters
