The way 80+% of Israelis react when they’re confronted about the genocide in Palestine is such self-reporting behavior. Same with Turks to be honest. How anyone could see that and think there’s no genocides going on is mind boggling to me.

It’s insane how Israeli and Turkish rhetoric is such a fucking mirror and usually both think the other genocide is real.

“Well Hamas makes it very difficult because they hide among civilians.” WHEN TERRORISTS USE INNOCENTS AS HUMAN SHIELDS YOU DO NOT RESPOND BY BLOWING UP THE HUMAN SHIELD

Or how it’s justified, like, they just want all Palestinians to accept these colonizers and to let their land be taken away with no real reparations? And they believe that anyone besides Jews deserves a bit of mistreatment and oppression. Like?? No? Maybe don’t do that. It’s all a tragedy, but if I lived in a place that only 40miles away, a 30min drive, there is bombing and shootings and barricades to prevent aid and resources getting in to help those people, i would be appalled

It’s literally the single most inhumane country on the planet. Nothing from any other country I’ve ever seen is quite as depraved

That is actually exactly what you do. Failing to do so further incentivizes using human shields.

Literally can’t. Your view unironically is that using human shields should be an automatic I win button in warfare.

I don’t even think it can even be called a human shield when Israel intentionally goes after the civilians even when Hamas isn’t present. Like there’s no shielding going on.

that strategy only works if you believe the loss of life, a working class of people, who could be beneficial to the nation/opposition, are worth the cost. Which hate to break, has been not exactly worth the cost in the long run. To reduce extremist you need to move the targets onto the side of the oppositions, or you keep building threats.

Palestinians are unique in that they are frequently willing to be used as human shields, but that doesn’t change the moral imperative to ignore the tactic.
