 I don’t fully understand Neo pronouns. Can someone who uses them possibly educate me on them? Like ik gender isn’t binary and that sex and gender don’t equate. I just never met anyone who used Neo pronouns

Pronouns are fine. If you want she he or them that’s cool I don’t care. But when you start demanding “xem” or “this one” please fuck off.

It’s just an alternative choice of pronouns often used by neurodivergent kids trying to figure out their life. Being trans is usually never a phase, but I’ve noticed neopronouns like this tend to fade in and out of people’s lives

I mean like it’s a touchy subject. I personally won’t deny someone the respect because I don’t understand the way they chose to identify. I wasn’t rlly raised that way. So I’m making an effort to understand it. Cause I’ve seen it online and in videos where they’re “making fun of the left and look how crazy libs are” but I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t use he/him, she/her, they/them.

I’m saying this from a queer perspective btw, not a chud one. I find Neo-Pronouns to be insincere, self-aggrandizing, pretentious, gives off an air that you are too good to share pronouns with others.

At the end of the day I’ve never seen anyone over 18 use neopronouns, people are mostly clowning on tumblr kids

Thanks Shrimp! That could explain why I’ve never rlly met ppl who use these pronouns but then again I live in a red state where ppl still focus on shirts being for girls 💀

No worries!! It’s a really niche corner of the internet where these kids unironically use neopronouns tho, it’s mostly used as a strawman to gatekeep being trans which I don’t think is okay

A bit embarrassing to admit but I used to use it/its in addition they/them, just cause I liked how it sounded. That’s since exited my life, but the feeling that drove me to try it out is still there. Neopronouns are kind of just an experiment for the most part ahaha
