ah yes the radical centrists, so passionate about... having no passion. the status quo is pretty great and you shouldnt be too strong in action no matter what the horrors are.

Centrists in the 1930s were neutral to the Holocaust and wanted to allow Hitler to invade countries by the way. Were the people who wanted to invade Germany and kill Hitler brainwashed radicals?

This is just whataboutism. Stalin was ambivalent to the Holocaust and invasions because he was also an imperialist genocidal dictator. What does this have to do with what I said? Do I need to go through every notable public figure at the time and explain their reaction to you?

I mean which centrist groups, politicians, newspapers etc. in Germany? The Centrist Party (Deutsche Zentrumspartei) in Germany were against the Nazis and Chancellor Franz von Papen but their equal antagonism agaisnt the Communists and the Nazis ultimately allowed Hitler to rise to power and once he did they were willing to become complicit for their own safety. The only parties that voted in favor of the 1933 Enabling Act that allowed Hitler to get into power were the right wing parties and the

Centrist parties. When facing a radical movement that wants to take away the rights of others, the focus should not be on maintaining civility but on radically protecting others.
