Why do you keep moving the goal posts? The ballroom itself isn’t the problem. It’s the fact his actions are showing he cares more about a ballroom than actual people. It would be like if your parents renovated their bedroom but told you they didn’t have money for your food.

Your analogy falls apart in multiple ways. Trump does not control the shutdown, thats congress’s job. The renovation isn’t being paid for by taxes. It’s more like getting a group of neighbors together to renovate a public park while simultaneously the city council decides to delay their bill payments. They have nothing to do with each other.
