What they’re trying to say is that your insurance rates go up after you have a medical emergency, which is true, but Trump also de-regulated how much one issue can jack your rates up because Obamacare had mitigated how much one trip to the ER could fuck your premiums

Like when I was 19 I had to get two major surgeries, and even though they weren’t for things that tend to happen repeatedly, it increased our rates. What it didn’t do was outright double them.
