Politics is forever changing and altering. While a political science can help you have an understanding of political theories I wouldn’t say having a degree in it is exactly relevant when having a political debate. I know people who have degrees that are complete morons, I also know people who are brilliant but didn’t attend college or didn’t get a degree for one reason or another
