I don’t want to have to yap about this since it involves a lot of science and easily googlable statistics that I’ve had to screenshot and share many times before, but trust me, climate change is not the reason for a tornado being in DC if that happens lol

Like I’m being completely honest with you, whenever people bring up climate change when a large tornado hits a populated area, it’s genuinely the equivalent of the “the government is seeding the clouds” people. That’s how misguided it is

It certainly affects the weather, just not this specific aspect. It frustrates me when people misdirect the information they think they know from media and apply it to a field incorrectly
