I think Donald Trump is a symptom of a sick political system. He's like a cancer. I think that presidents have much less power than we think over domestic and economic policy given that govt is so divided but he has been a one man wrecking crew when it comes to democratic norms, our respect and prestige around the world, setting problematic precedents for what presidents can do unilaterally, all of that

This is pretty close rlly most of the stuff aside from the tax cuts can be undone by the next president or another congress. What’s rlly scary is the new norms he’s set into place. I’m not worried about him being the next dictator I honestly think he’s too incompetent but someone else could easily abuse the office after him.

But that’s why the next government needs to set things right and pursue legal consequences. People can’t think this an ok thing to do.
