yes but no. a lot of the young boys of gen z are... entranced by social media figures that say society should conform to a very specific image (where these boys are revered) instead of being a little different or just a regular person

I definitely agree social media has contributed to a culture of mass conformity. I’ve noticed it around young women as well such as the rise of trad wives and the “I’m just a girl” trend. I’ve seen girl friends of mine switch from hardcore progressives to full on reactionary conservatives

Is the trad wife phenomenon really gaining that much ground? I thought it was just a niche thing. I would more expect women to conform to progressive ideology while men conform to conservative ideology 🤷

I know it makes more sense but somehow I’ve just noticed this. For context I live in a suburban area where the people are mostly white and privileged

The left has also to an extent ignored the mental problems young men face often saying it's not real or it's way over blown despite men's mental health being a serious issue
