In a civilized society with abundant resources, yes we have a right to basic needs. Especially when the average person is responsible for 99% of the labor that was used to create this abundance despite being coerced into selling their labor for less than it was worth

That’s fine. But it’s also worth acknowledging that the government is always terrible at providing these things.

these are not rights, these are basic things any living creature needs to be able to do for themselves to survive. stop relying on the god damn government, they're not gonna save you. the squirrels and birds don't rely on foot stamps and medicare, you shouldn't either.

You said nature was all about how animals just “live on their own” and I felt the need to explain to you that social Darwinism is fucking idiotic.

So when I said animals it has an S not animal as in one singular animal. And if you read my comment you would've had the context to understand that. S means plural for future reference, hope this helps.

Quick question. What do you think the purpose of a government should be?

So animals, collectively, live on their own? In spite of the fact that many animalS do not live on their own. And you lecture me about grammar?

Their actual only purpose? Exploit. Their ideal purpose? Non-existence.

Animals live on their own, independent from government existence. In this context, animals could refer to an entire ecosystem. Stop tryna act like you dont know what I said, I refuse to believe you're actually that stupid.

… they literally do. Species of ants have systems of agriculture with a distribution system making sure every colony member gets fed. That’s their form of government assistance.

What is the point of society if we don’t take care of each other. Cooperation is how humans survive

We all have so much more when we help each other in a reciprocal manner. At a small scale, this is in the form of community. At the larger scale, this takes the form of a transparent democratic government that pools our collective resources into achieving things we couldn’t do alone, eg healthcare, research, space exploration, infrastructure, etc

that's called sharing. that's not a fucking government. if you wanna think the ants are in their little free healthcare hospital and ignore that they fix injuries by just biting off whatever part of the ant is injured, even if it kills them, that's fine. i'm not saying it's bad to work with a group to survive. if you can't distinguish between social animals and a government idk what to say you're lost man.

Again, do I need to bust out my 2nd grade science lessons? You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. That’s not just “sharing” it’s literally a sophisticated method of food cultivation to give to ants that work to further the hive. They are being PAID in order to eat. You know, like how organisms in a SOCIETY function.
