I actually did a study on Black Republicans and I found that their conservatism/voting for Republicans isn’t based much on racial resentment. It’s moreso based on where they get their news (mainly Fox News). White Republicans, however, base their votes much more on racism and anti-immigrant sentiment as well as media, so Black and White Republicans have different factors that determine their partisanship and votes. Really interesting stuff
