I don’t think you understand those are either micro nations who do it in order to have investment from very rich ppl as tax havens. Or those are oil states who are rich off of oil profits who stay in power by buying loyalty from its citizens.

I understand that taxation is necessary in order to have a functioning society, but how much of it has to come from MY money? How much of it has to come from YOUR money? Especially in the United States, with so many overly wealthy individuals.
