okay i just looked it up again and realized MTV Buckwild was only on the air for one fuckin month?? i remembered the one castmate dying in a mudding incident with his two friends, but i didn’t realize that the show lasted only one month 😵‍💫 i was in Michigan at 15 so mudding was a normal pastime up here and my friends were stoked to see mudding on MTV at the time lmao.

They’re middle class tho. Like they’re super trashy yeah but Snooki comes from the suburbs of Poughkeepsie NY. Not glamorous. But middle class up here is also different than like Sun Belt middle class WASP type shit

i think less the actual cast of jersey shore is the “white trash” but more of just the regular people you saw on the boardwalk or that they took home in the first season are the white trash that i’m talking about lol.
