ICE is a big part of that, as they have been more active in high-immigrant cities. Turns out when migrants are held to the high legal standards, they are less scared of committing crimes.

I go to the city very often and live near the "Little Palestine" of the US (Paterson NJ). Christian areas, Catholic especially are being completely replaced. Paterson is a city with a lot of black people in it, many go to church. Because a lot of them own property and pay loads of taxes and fees in a city subsidizing an unemployed population, they are forced out. Churches are empty and sold to muslim developers. Same in Queens. It USED to be the melting pot of the world.
