Because those who are terminally online are more likely to adopt forms of racism which are primarily transmitted over the internet. Those people are the same ones who will end up posting a lot.

Like I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone mention bad stuff about Jewish people or Indian people out in the blue in public. I have seen a lot of racism irl but it’s usually towards black people, Muslims or Hispanics.
