I’m starting to think a lot of self identifying “leftists” and “socialists” are closeted liberals who actually don’t care if working class people achieve class consciousness.

Yeah, like just when I call Liberals out by name and specifically on identity politics and people in general who say “I miss when politics were boring”, they get super defensive. I’ll talk about how poc and working class people get bullied into voting for a “lesser evil”, which is usually a corporate, pro-military-industrial-complex Democrat, instead of rallying behind a class conscious person for president or congress.

They’ll deflect and say you’re dog whistling when I just want to show people what to look out for and thought patterns avoid. Even after I explain that working class ⚪️🟤 conservatives fall into that same issue and feed into it. I thought that was common knowledge but yeah, that’s my take for right now.

Or they’ll say some things like “don’t go blaming the people for that, it’s the fucked up system” like???? Hello???

Oh ok, I think we’re talking about different things but I can’t remember what I was thinking ln. I mean, there wasn’t a viable non-corporate candidate in the recent election
