i used to think like this then i realized that the majority of conservatives have just been fed agit prop and lied to for years on end and it melted their brains. like genuinely it’s not their fault that moneyed interest decided that the destruction of their media literacy, critical thinking, and basic comprehension was a worthwhile price to pay for deregulation
