I doubt the Chinese would be stupid enough, at least right now. Their energy imports are degraded from the blockade and the U.S. could easily shut down the Strait of Malacca, completely shutting off China’s most important avenue for maritime trade. Add to that the general economic fallout from the invasion and you’re looking at a horrific economic crisis in China. Bad everywhere but worst in China
