Okay, that may be true, but which party put theirs in the White House knowing full well about his pedophilic tendencies? Like, I think Bill Clinton is most likely also in those files, but Jeffrey Epstein wasn’t accused of anything when Clinton was President, there’s deniability about whether the Democrats knew about it then. The Republicans have no such deniability with Donald Trump, especially in his 2nd term.

This is a reductive statement. One side currently has all their pedophiles in power and is doing everything they can to hide these horrible crimes now that the wider public has found out. Democrats would gladly send Clinton to the block if they found out he is in the files

I think this is true of the average Democratic voter, but not necessarily true of the party elite. It’s important to recognize that those are two VERY distinct groups of people.

Most Republicans have been falling in lockstep with Trump on everything, including the files, you might have the occasional principled one like Rand Paul, but by in large they are protecting their guy.

I’m looking into it right now, and Mike Johnson has not come out in favor of releasing the files, as I expected. He announced that the vote to do so would be taking place, because it has to take place now that a majority has called for it to be voted on with the swearing in of the last Representative needed to break the tie, but that’s not an endorsement of releasing them, that’s a procedural announcement.
