It’s really unfortunate but the amount of times I’ve had to talk to people IRL about how their comments & views are antisemitic. People who didn’t before are starting to believe the whole Jews control the media bs due to how our media, & politicians on

Both sides bend over backwards to protect Israel & also center any conversation or criticism of Israel’s actions around Jews & protecting/ supporting Jews. As well as demonize & black list anyone critical of Israel & its actions

People see this & believe that Jews control the media. Doesn’t help that Israel keeps falsely claiming that all of their actions are done in defense of Jews & that they represents all Jews while our media & politicians double down on that.

I keep having to tell people no Jews don’t control anything & the media & politicians are lying to you & using Jews as a shield. They actually don’t care about protecting Jews & only care about protecting Israel due to how important our government sees Israel as a strategic US foothold in a resource dense region. It’s really that simple & has nothing to do with Jews in power at the end of the day

But too many people don’t understand that & have a surface level understanding of things so instead of coming to the correct conclusion that it’s just US imperialism trying to manufacture consent they instead come to the antisemitic conclusion that Jews control & run everything
