We choose not to cause if we nuked Iran, china or Russia would immediately nuke us then we would nuke them back and the world would be nuclear fallout (which I’m not entirely against)

I bet China and Russia wouldn’t do that, though I also wouldn’t want to test it. If anything it just makes it clear to that entire bloc that the US needs to be taken out somehow. Would probably come in the form of a long period of economic warfare and proxy uprisings against the US. That would be my theory

Russia is more likely to use it on Ukraine than us. China probably wouldn’t strike us but would invade Taiwan and say any us involvement would be met with strikes.

If we nuked Iran yes mutually assured destruction would happen it’s a chain reaction lol that’s the only reason why nukes haven’t been deployed again after a single other country got nukes

I don’t think countries would enter MAD to defend Iran. They’d use it as a pretext to “justify” their military offensives elsewhere though.

The chain reaction is nuking an ally of another nation then the ally retaliating, yk the whole point of a alliance of militaries

The US just nuked a country, they just murdered millions of people… that might instantly turn most people against the US. Even people siding with the US would be taking a huge political risk
