I saw a chick in Rhode Island emerge form the water with a tautog she speared (she was wearing a wetsuit and it was like January) and it was really hot

My coworker over the summer had a crab trap out and he would just smash green crabs with his shoe lol

Green crabs are highly invasive to our area so it was alright, he released all the native species. Def a bit brutal though

I see that’s totally fair, and there’s certainly always the question of at what point it becomes immoral to be killing invasive animals. After all, it’s not their fault they’re here, it’s ours.
