You’re wrong - using an emoji to describe a violent sex crime is dismissing the seriousness of it. Actually laughable that you can claim I don’t take victims seriously while you’re using fucking fruit emojis to describe a sexual assault. Oh so you’re the arbiter of all triggers? No one’s trigger is valid unless you bless it? Obviously veterans and survivors of school shootings may be triggered by gun shots - do we not use the word “gun” online to protect them? Do we restrict fireworks on the Fourth of July? No. Changing the words to sound more comforting is wrong - it is a criminal sex act, of course it should sound uncomfortable to hear. You’re downplaying the seriousness of these things.
