The politics of this whole thing are still TBD. It all depends on how it turns out in the end—if it works out well, then perhaps it’ll help Trump in the midterms. As it stands, it’s going far better than expected, and even if the outcome isn’t as nice as Venezuela, it’ll still go down as a win based on our current trajectory
