Would any conservatives like to explain why the Virginia and California gerrymanders approved by voters are bad, but the Texas/Ohio/Missouri/NC gerrymanders are ok?

What if they’re both bad…

Then republicans in the federal level should support the anti gerrymandering legislation that democrats in the house have proposed

Correct but obviously they’re not gonna do that

So then why should democrats unilaterally disarm?

If every state gerrymanders that will that be worse for our health. It’s a great way to start conflict. Also, VAs gerrymandering is far worse than any of the other states so there’s that.

They shouldn’t. Gerrymandering isn’t good no matter who does it. This whole back and forth is never gonna end and both sides are gonna try to keep one-upping each other every single year. At some point someone has to call it even and pause redistributing for at least 10+ years. And not like a “oh we just got Texas switched more red so NOW let’s stop it” or vice versa.
