Democrats recently said they would vote to reopen the government if republicans just agreed to keep the Health Care subsidies for just a YEAR. And republicans said no, people will legitimately die if they can’t afford healthcare.

Is it not scary to you as an American, that this past week Republicans finally let go of the “Illegals are getting healthcare lie” and simply said they don’t want us paying a cheap price for healthcare?!?! Is that shit not wild to you?

we're too young to know a time without obamacare, so we think it's great, but it has flaws. at this rate, the dems are hurting more people not opening the gov. I get their point, but just open it. once shit gets shitter without the subsidies, politicians will run on "i'll make a better version of obamacare" and in 2028 a better plan will be passed.

Obamacare was passed in 2010. Some of us know how bad it was before then, because some of us have pre-existing conditions and wouldn’t be able to get health insurance rn
